HCAN AGM 2020

Notice of 2020 Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the Hindu College Colombo Alumni Association of North America (“HCAN”) on Sunday March 29^th 2020 from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm.

HCAN members are hereby invited to the 2020 AGM to be held on Sunday, March 29^th 2020, from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm. As we are finalizing the details, the venue for the AGM will be informed to the members in due course. Members are requested to mark this date on your calendar, as this would be a great opportunity to socialize and to get involved in HCAN’s future activities. Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.

Election:
If you wish to run for a 2020-2021 executive position, please complete the attached nomination form and submit to alumni@hinducollegecolombo.com.

The final acceptance of nominations will end at 11.00 pm on Sunday, March 22^th 2020 and the last day of nomination withdrawal will end at 10.00 pm on Tuesday, March 24^th 2020. The names of the eligible nominees will be published on our website on Thursday, March 26^th 2020.  Nominations received after the due dates stated above will not be accepted by the executive board members.

Note: Only life members are eligible to run for executive positions. As per the constitution, all nominees should be a life member for a period of 12 months prior to the date of nomination.

We have come to the end of the Fiscal year 2019 and the Executive Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all members, their family, and the sponsors for their financial, physical and moral support throughout the year.
